Fathom Fitness Coaching
Take your fitness to new depths with our exhilarating fitness coaching! Attend any session, any time, with our Unlimited Membership structure or choose a specific program that matches your fitness goals. Our knowledgeable and dedicated Coaches are there to guide you through each training session and scale any workout to meet your current fitness level or write you a custom program to meet your specific goals.
Your 1-on-1 Coaching Sessions
We know joining a new gym can be intimidating (but there’s no need to be!)…that’s why we have a guided onboarding program that includes Foundations Sessions to teach you the movements, nutrition education, and much more. This is all designed to make you feel confident in your new fitness journey with us!
You’ll start with 1-on-1 coaching sessions so you can learn the proper mechanics of our workout movements in a safe and controlled setting. Your fitness coaches will make learning new skills fun and exciting, plus you’ll sweat a little!
After you finish your 1-on-1 coaching sessions you’ll continue on the path that best suits your fitness goals: that could be more individual coaching or you could move into our small-group coaching sessions. No matter what your training path will be, your Fathom Coaches are dedicated to helping you achieve your fitness goals!
All classes are Coach-led
Based on the effective prescription of “constantly varied functional movement executed at high intensity,” our CrossFit program combines strength training with classic cardio elements to produce the best results in a short workout.
In this 1-hour Coach-led class, you will train strength, learn new skills like gymnastics movements or barbell lifts, and push your fitness limits in our metabolic conditioning workouts. Every day’s workout is different so you never get bored! We can scale (make it less challenging) each workout to match your fitness level, so you get the most out of your workout every time.
Olympic lifts including Snatch and Clean and Jerk
Olympic Weightlifting classes are offered through the Fathom Barbell Club (a USA Weightlifting sanctioned club) and focus on the classic Olympic lifts including snatch and clean and jerk. Our programming follows set cycles ranging from the introductory level to more advanced levels preparing lifters to set new personal records or even competition. The Fathom Olympic Weightlifting classes are for anyone looking to improve your technique and strength, or want to pursue Olympic Weightlifting as a sport.
Our facility has IWF barbells (men’s and women’s), kilo plates, and dedicated platforms. Visitors are always welcome!

- Bodybuilding Strength and Optional Short “Oly” METCONs
Perfect for a Beginner or anyone looking for a Great Workout
This lightning-fast workout gets you in and out in 45-minutes. This class doesn’t use any high-skill movements or complicated lifts so it’s perfect for a beginner or anyone looking for a great workout in a short amount of time!
Fathom Fit memberships are available through the Fathom Unlimited Membership (access to all programs), or separately as it’s own membership.

GYMNASTICS STRENGTH TRAINING
Progress in the Gymnastics Class!
The one-hour class will focus on everything from foundational strength (get that first pull-up or handstand push-up) to more advanced technique movements like ring muscle-ups and levers…even train splits to become more mobile and flexible. All athletes, from beginners to advanced, are encouraged to train with this class!
GYMNASTICS CLASS GOALS
Increase strength (specifically upper body and midline)
Increase body awareness and control
Increase mobility and flexibility
Improve movement efficiency to increase performance
Have fun and learn cool “ninja stuff”
Each workout will have scaled levels of programming so that anyone can train and progress in the Gymnastics Class.
Beginner Athletes: will focus on the fundamentals such as increasing strength, body awareness in the positions, and the ability to activate muscle groups in the correct sequence. Example Goal: earning your first strict pull-up!
Intermediate Athletes: will focus on working towards proficiency by refining technique and developing competency across all movements and apparatuses, while still increasing strength to prepare for more advanced movements. Example Goal: 5-10 Handstand Push-Ups and Kipping CTB Pull-Ups
Advanced Athletes: will focus on efficiency by training to perfect technique with the goal of decreasing energy expenditure and increasing stamina, as well as developing higher skill movements such as butterfly pull-ups, kipping ring muscle-ups, and ring handstand push-ups. Example Goal: Kipping Ring Muscle-Ups, Handstand Walking, and Kipping Ring Dips

In Fathom CrossFIt Anyone can do it!
One of the greatest things about Fathom CrossFit is that ANYONE can do it! In our Adaptive & Injured CrossFit classes, we use proven techniques to adapt the workouts to your ability level and accommodate any permanent or temporary impairment. This class is designed for anyone with a disability, injury, illness, or anyone who needs the special care of our professionally trained adaptive coaches. Fathom is a center of excellence for adaptive strength and conditioning in Southern California.
This program is led by Coach Alec Zirkenbach, a disabled veteran and subject matter expert staff member for the CrossFit Specialty Seminar: Adaptive Athlete.
